The best way to understand Sunshine Acres is to stand in it, to smell the turned soil, hear the kids in the garden rows, and taste a tomato still warm from the sun. We'd love to have you out.

Promise of Peace Gardens can walk with you through an entire growing season, from preparing the soil to harvesting your food to sharing it at your own table. We teach hands-on classes for kids and adults. We host farm tours for families and groups. And we always have room for volunteers who want to dig in alongside us.

Farm visits are by appointment, so give us a call and we'll set a time that works. Looking for an easy first visit? Stop by the Sunshine Acres Farm Store most Saturdays, 10 AM to 1 PM, and say hello.

To book a tour, sign up for a class, or volunteer, call Elizabeth at 214-240-9220.
